This weekend, we’re celebrating some of our favorites with PlayStation Store’s Flash Sale Remastered! if you are a sucker for old cheese, you might be very happy with it.It’s always exciting when classic PC titles or beloved games from consoles-past get a newer gen refresh. Maybe the whole thing will as it's close to the sound of some german libraries of that period (i'm still guessing 1976-1978 until someone with expert knowledge enlightens my dull dungeon). If you're not into classical melodies and obscure stuff save yourself from those damn ads on the download sites and forget about it immediately. This track will definitely appeal to the lovers of library music. Opening with lovely "Krautrock" including reversed drums and epic synths, it flows guitar-gently until the standout track "Latin Glasses" on side B wakes you up and calls for a dance or two (i wouldn't dare to say it'd move masses but a little "free dance" should be possible). Cogwheel's Sightsound LP from an unknown (to me) year in the seventies? If you check the details here you'll find that there is a classical background to most of the tracks, especially on the first side. You can hear that here: "įollowing my soft spot for obscure private pressings here's yet another one. He shared some interesting insight into why the band were such pioneers of their era. Recently I had the pleasure of interviewing Ian MacFarlane who played in a later incarnation of the live Cybotron experience and also made three brilliant long playing tapestries of kooky solo synth miniatures. Unfortunately not the easiest piece to find from the Cybotron catalogue, the LP was apparently given away at a subsequent concert. Parallel worlds converge when transmitted on the FM airwaves. I feel a rather romantic connection with this private press given that it was performed on a Sunday eve in Melbourne, just like our weekly radio show 30+ years later. "Recorded in the same year as their landmark debut, Sunday Night at the Total Theatre sees Cybotron's core Steve Braund and Geoff Green hypnotise a theatre of attentive space cadets with otherworldly drones and a chugging beat.
